Master Chef and The Name Game

Since coming to Leeds I have been introduced to two new excellent games

1. Master Chef

This is a game we play almost every day

you need three or more players to play

one player is the judge and the others are all contestants. Contestants have to 'make' a meal for the judge, after each meal has been tasted and critiqued a winner is then chosen from the contestants and the winner then become the judge of the next round

N.B. you don't actually make a meal, you just say it and the judge then chooses their favorite.

2. The Name Game

The name game is a very long game which we play in almost all car trips

-we have been playing since I arrived three weeks ago and are only up to L.

it's very simple you first choose to use girls or boys names then work your way through every letter in the alphabet coming up with as many names as you can for each letter.

Each person has a turn in a circle.

Once you're out of names you're out and the winner is the last person with a name for that letter

once you have a winner you move onto the next letter.

Andrew is the ultimate name game player and loves to taunt all other players when he has a name

he also gives clues to names by doing impersonations (all of which are American for some reason)
