Day two I woke to hear the girls in the room next door (who were the biggest princesses on the tour, more about them later) complaining about the state of the hotel
Suckers! That's what you get for being rude to the staff! I bet they turned their heating down on purpose just in spite of them haha
So we decided to keep our heater a secret from them haha
After breakfast went to Brussels which was great, they had a huge Christmas market which we unfortunately only found half of until the last half an hour of our time there so we literally ran through it to make it back to the group in time, two people from the tour weren't so lucky and were left behind in Brussels while we all went back to Oostende for the night
Quick side note: I think it's safe to say that Belgium is the only place you'll find jager shots in a Christmas market!
Now night two we were a little smarter with our heating, we used the bases of our beds as walls around our mattresses and used 2 blankets as a roof
We made a very successful fort and kept the heater in the middle,
That night we were toasty warm!
